Privacy Policy
Effective August 10, 2026
Scholie is built by a homeschool family, for homeschool families. Your family's information is treated the way we'd want ours treated.
What we collect
Your account details (name, email). What you choose to share about your homeschool: your kids' first names, grades, curriculum, schedules, lesson records, and photos you upload. Basic usage analytics that help us improve Scholie. Payments are processed by Stripe, Apple, or Google; Scholie never sees or stores your card number.
How we use it
To run Scholie for your family: building plans, keeping records, and showing you your year. To send you service emails you can opt out of. To improve the product.
What we never do
We never sell your data. We never train AI models on your family's photos. We never share your information with anyone without your consent, except the service providers who host and run Scholie (such as our database and email providers), who are bound to protect it.
Your kids' information
Scholie is used by parents. All information about children is provided by you, the parent or guardian, and you consent to it being stored when you enter it. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children under 13.
Security
Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
Your rights
You can export your family's data, including every photo, at any time. You can delete your account and everything in it whenever you choose. Email lindsey@scholie.com and we'll help with either.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll email you before the change takes effect.
